What it’s like

Palate

Very recognisably Pauillac: blackberry, graphite, mineral notes and tobacco, supported by firm Cabernet tannins. Structured rather than flashy, finishing with considerable elegance.

Monster Notes

“This is classic Pauillac. Cabernet, graphite, tobacco, firm structure — no need to make it complicated. 2016 was a strong Bordeaux vintage and this still has plenty of runway. At S$155, if you want to put some proper Bordeaux into the cellar without spending silly money, I like this.”
