Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes harvested from vineyards across the Serralunga d’Alba commune, this beauty sees fermentation in concrete tanks (~25 days with daily pump-overs), followed by extensive aging in large French oak barrels (18–36 months) depending on the vineyard and vintage.
Violets, red cherries, wild strawberries, plums, and rose petals with flashes of dried leaves, cocoa, and black pepper weaving in.Juicy and balanced with savory, sandpapery tannins and refreshing acidity. Flavors of cranberry, blood orange, and delicate minerals carry through to a long, taut, and harmonious finish.
