100% Cinsault sourced from a 1973-planted parcel in Riebeeksrivier on schist soils—aka, the “Pinot Noir of Swartland” vibe. Fermented with ~30–50% whole clusters in concrete and/or open fermenters, followed by aging in 28-year-old wooden casks/foudres. Think floral and elegant—rose petals, wild strawberry, cranberry, potpourri, and Turkish Delight, with a mineral undertone upgrading that purity. Smooth, crunchy red fruit meets a linear, gently grippy finish.
Medium-bodied but multi-dimensional—vibrant, finely structured, and infinitely food-friendly. Think lamb kebab, duck, or a gourmet cheese board. Cellar early or sip now for that linear finesse.
